Job summary

Unity Partners is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a Product Team within a fast-growing hardware/software company. You will focus on delivering as the team grows from 5–6 to about 10 engineers, balancing hands-on oversight with strategic scaling.

This role requires strong leadership, experience turning prototypes into market-ready products, and the ability to shape processes in an evolving organization. On-site role with some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineers and scaling teams.
• Experience taking products from prototype to production and market readiness.
• Strong people management track record.
• Comfort shaping processes in evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team, including hiring and onboarding as the team grows.
• Plan and manage team capacity in line with the product roadmap.
• Facilitate alignment between Product Owner, System Engineer, and Platform Leads on scope, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Remove blockers and improve ways of working, tooling, and cross-team collaboration; manage external partners.
