Job summary

Prothya Biosolutions in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering team within Technical Operations. You will translate business priorities into engineering solutions that improve performance, reliability, compliance, and scalability.

You will manage Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers, drive capital investments, and oversee GMP, GxP, and safety practices while partnering with Validation, QA, and Automation to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects in a regulated environment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences; PM methodologies (PMI/PMBOK).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects, technical modifications, and continuous improvements.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Drive strategic engineering planning and manage risks.
• Develop capacity plans and resource forecasting.
• Collaborate with Validation, QA, and Automation teams.
