Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Manager Manufacturing to lead a team of 15–20 operators on (semi-)automated lines across shifts. You will shape operations, drive efficiency, and ensure GMP and GDP standards across a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.

Based in Breda, you will champion continuous improvement, mentor staff, and collaborate on cross-functional projects to scale production while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a regulated industry.
• Willingness to work in a shift system to gain shopfloor experience.
• People management skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
• Passionate about Lean manufacturing principles and improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of GMP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and develop your team while ensuring GMP compliance.
• Oversee labeling and packaging processes in line with SOPs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Agile, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on projects implementing new equipment and production lines.
• Promote a culture of quality and safety and a First Time Right mindset.
