Job summary

Middle Point is seeking an Electrical Engineer with marine design experience to design and coordinate cable tray routing and electrical layouts on luxury yachts.

You will develop and maintain cable tray and panel plans, manage equipment data, and integrate panels and cabling into vessel designs while collaborating with structural and outfitting teams. Offshore yacht projects require precise documentation and cross-discipline coordination.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of marine electrical design experience.
  • Experience with cable routing, panel plans and equipment integration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant marine electrical design experience, preferably within superyacht engineering.
  • Strong experience with cable tray routing, panel planning and equipment integration.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Cadmatic and Teamcenter.
  • Salary depending on experience and knowledge.
  • Assistance with relocation, visa applications, housing advice, and general support.
  • Possibility of 30% tax ruling for the first five years.
  • At least 25 paid vacation days in addition to bank holidays.
  • Compensation for commuting costs.
  • Language course compensation up to €500.
  • Yearly social events.
  • Invitations to industry events and conventions such as METSTRADE, SMM, Offshore Energy.
