Job summary

Simvia is seeking a Business Development Associate in Amsterdam to drive growth in the Benelux region. You will generate leads, conduct cold outreach, and secure meetings to fuel our sales pipeline in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

As part of a dynamic team, you’ll develop sales skills and contribute to building sustainable food supply chains. The role offers flexibility with an Amsterdam office and partial remote work, plus regular team events and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in marketing, client services, business development or sales.
• Dutch fluency is required to engage with Benelux stakeholders.
• Motivated to grow and learn, with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: identify and research potential leads in Benelux markets to create opportunities.
• Cold outreach: initiate calls and targeted outreach to engage decision-makers and introduce Simvia's solutions.
• Appointment setting: secure meetings with prospects for the Account Executives.
• Pipeline management: maintain and update the CRM to ensure a full pipeline for the sales team.
• Continuous improvement: build industry knowledge and develop skills with guidance from the team.
