Job summary

Sustainalytics in Amsterdam is seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to support the growth of our Dutch and Belgian business. You will identify and qualify new opportunities, conduct market research, and help build a robust pipeline across asset managers, asset owners, banks and other financial institutions.

Working with experienced sales professionals, you will gain exposure to enterprise sales, ESG and regulatory solutions, and senior client engagement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in sales support, business development, inside sales or related role.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Interest in ESG and sustainable finance; English and Dutch fluency.

Responsibilities

• Support territory and account planning activities.
• Generate and qualify new business opportunities.
• Conduct prospecting and outreach campaigns.
• Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Client Success teams.
• Contribute to pipeline generation and market development across Belgium and the Netherlands.
