Job summary

Morningstar in Amsterdam is seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to support the growth of our Dutch and Belgian business. You will identify and qualify opportunities, conduct market research, support prospect outreach, and help build pipeline across asset managers, asset owners, banks, and financial institutions.

The role offers exposure to enterprise sales, ESG and regulatory solutions, and senior client engagement within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Demonstrated interest and relevant experience in prospecting, research, and lead generation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with relevant stakeholders.
Proactive self starter, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Interest in ESG, sustainable finance
English and Dutch fluency (essential)
3 to 5 years of experience in sales support, business development, inside sales, or a related commercial role.

Responsibilities

Support territory and account planning activities.
Generate and qualify new business opportunities.
Conduct prospecting and outreach campaigns.
Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Client Success teams.
Contribute to pipeline generation and market development across Belgium and the Netherlands.
