Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead the Commercial & New Payment Flows agenda for Northern Europe. You will shape strategic priorities, collaborate with country managers, product leads, and regional/global stakeholders to drive growth across the CNPF portfolio and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in payments, banking, fintech, or related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial payments and new payment flows (B2B, corporate, transit, embedded finance, etc.).
• Experience driving business development, growth initiatives, or market expansion programs.
• Structured, analytical approach to problem solving and strategic planning.
• Experience creating executive-level narratives, business cases, and growth strategies.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, set direction, and mobilize stakeholders without direct authority.
• Exceptional relationship-building across local, regional, and global organizations.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Northern Europe CNPF Growth Agenda.
• Drive commercial growth strategy for Commercial & New Payment Flows across Northern Europe, aligning market opportunities with Mastercard priorities.
• Create One Integrated Divisional Agenda across CNPF portfolio.
• Coordinate initiatives spanning commercial cards, SME solutions, corporate payments, transit, cross-border payments, and emerging flows.
• Drive alignment across local, regional, and global stakeholders to present a single market-facing plan.
• Identify new growth opportunities, build commercial strategies, and accelerate adoption of CNPF solutions.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure delivery against annual objectives.
• Lead through influence to create cross-functional alignment across matrixed teams.
