Job summary

Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to support both small and large-scale kitchen operations, with exposure to banqueting, events, and multiple outlets. The role offers growth within a dynamic hotel kitchen and opportunities to learn across sections and services.

Ideal candidates have prior kitchen experience or culinary training, enjoy variety, and stay focused during busy periods. English communication helps; Dutch is a plus.

• Previous kitchen experience or completed culinary training.
• Ability to learn and grow within a professional hotel kitchen.

• Teamwork, structure and execution are important to you.
• English communication is a plus (Dutch is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Work hands-on across sections and service styles.
• Assist with mise en place, service execution and quality control.
• Ensure consistency and presentation standards across all dishes.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, stock control and waste procedures.
• Support the team during busy services with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Step in where needed and develop skills across sections.
