Overview

We’re looking for an all round, flexible Demi Chef de Partie who enjoys both small and large scale operations, loves teamwork, and feels confident taking responsibility during busy services. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who thrives in a dynamic hotel environment and enjoys organised, high energy kitchens.

What You Will Be Doing

As Demi Chef de Partie, you’ll support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef across the full kitchen operation, with a strong focus on groups, events and banqueting, while remaining hands on in all areas of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Help lead banquets, buffets, conferences and gala dinners
• Work across all outlets, from individual dining to large‑scale events
• Support menu planning, preparation and smooth service execution
• Ensure quality and consistency whether serving 1 plate or 300
• Coordinate timing with service and event teams
• Maintain high standards in food safety, hygiene, stock control and waste management
• Train, support and motivate the kitchen team during busy periods
• Step in wherever needed. A true all‑round flexibility is key

• Have experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef (hotel or banqueting experience is a big plus)
• Are flexible, hands on and enjoy variety in your workday
• Feel comfortable moving between à la carte service and large events
• Stay organised and focused when it gets busy
• Take pride in preparation, structure and execution
• Work well in a diverse, team focused kitchen
• Speak English confidently (Dutch is an advantage)
