Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Datacenter Solution Engineer to join our Netherlands team in 's-Hertogenbosch. This position involves installing server hardware, providing technical support, and assisting with customer service issues.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with complex X86 systems, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills. A hands-on experience with Enterprise server hardware is essential. This fulltime role requires being on-site 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in servicing complex X86 systems in a datacenter environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent command of English, Dutch a plus.
• Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical installation, rack and stack, cabling, and networking of data center hardware.
• Provide first-line technical support to end users via telephone, email, and ticketing system.
• Assist with customer contact and carry out hardware break fixes on location.

Skills

Servicing complex X86 systems

Hands-on experience with Enterprise grade server hardware

Windows & Linux environment understanding

Scripting knowledge (Bash, PHP, Python)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Dutch MBO4 in Computer Science
