Job summary

Supermicro is expanding its service team in the Netherlands, specifically at the s-'Hertogenbosch branch. We are seeking an Associate Solution Engineer to join the Global Service Installation Team, performing rack, install, and network cabling of data center hardware on client sites.

You will provide hardware and software support, report to the Solutions Manager, and assist with service desk tasks while occasionally traveling internationally for installations at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/EE or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in server/storage/networking environments.
• Experience with GPU platforms, BIOS/UEFI, and storage protocols.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux; certifications are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform racking and installation of server hardware, storage and network equipment.
• Provide first-line technical support to end users via various channels.
• Assist engineering to install hardware per specifications and coordinate integrations.
• Support on-site activities including travel to customer sites as needed.
• Contribute to service desk operations and handle service tickets per SLA.
• Support with hardware break/fix tasks and RMA processing when required.
