Job summary

Career Executive 赛睿人力资源 is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to oversee on-site and regional activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of large-scale data center facilities. The role requires leading a sizable team, coordinating with HQ in China, and managing cross-functional projects across teams.

The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, extensive data center IT operation knowledge, and strong mastery of cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years experience in global large data center operation (10+MW) as team leader with a management team of 15+ people.
• Deep knowledge of Data Center IT Operation.
• Cloud technologies and architectures, IT service delivery principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation maintenance and service management of the data center facility to balance service quality, efficiency, cost and safety.
• Respond to IDC risk events and emergency fault handling to maintain controllable operation risks.
• Establish efficient cooperative relations with Regional government departments and ensure compliance requirements.
• Provide on-site technical support, understand business needs and promote cross-team project implementation.
• Lead talent development, capacity training, risk control, and on-site operation and maintenance team assessment.

Job description

Responsible for the daily operation maintenance and service management of the computer room within the jurisdiction, balance the service quality, efficiency, cost and safety in combination with the actual situation of IDC, and continuously optimize and improve to support the business operations of the department;

Responsible for responding to and handling IDC risk events and emergency fault handling, and realizing controllable operation risks such as IDC changes and faults;

Responsible for establishing efficient cooperative relations with Regional government departments and completing the compliance operation requirements assigned by government departments;

Undertake on-site technical support for business equipment, understand business needs and network structure, and promote the implementation of operation projects between teams;

Responsible for the talent echelon construction, capacity training, risk control, team culture construction, on-site operation and maintenance ecological team management and assessment of the IDC on-site operation and maintenance team;

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an Electrical or Mechanical engineering

3+ years experience in global large data center operation (10+MW) as team leader, management team with more than 15 people

Deep knowledge of Data Center IT Operation

Functional knowledge of cloud technologies and architectures, IT service delivery principles and best practices

Highly driven, self-managed individual, greatly developed problem analysis and critical thinking experience

Knowledge of data center construction procedure

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25% to 50%+ at times)

Must be familiar with Excel and PowerPoint

Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is a must as the role will need to coordinate with HQ in China.
