Job summary

Adams Multilingual Recruitment's client, an independent chemical distribution company, seeks a Sales Manager DACH to drive growth in Germany and Austria. The role can be based at Rotterdam or Hamburg and involves substantial field work.

You will develop new business, manage key accounts, negotiate framework agreements, and coordinate with Technical Services. Expect about 40% travel and a mix of on-site and home-office activity, with a competitive base salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in polymers or chemicals.
• Strong negotiation and communication in German and English.
• Willingness to travel ~40% of time.
• Independent, proactive, able to work in a fast-changing environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication; represent company interests while considering customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the DACH region.
• Maintain and grow sales with existing customers; cross-sell.
• Build strong relationships with key accounts.
• Monitor market trends, price movements, competitor activity and demand.
• Provide technical and commercial advice with the Technical Services team.
• Negotiate and conclude framework agreements and customer projects.
• Travel to meet customers on site, around 40%.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and other departments to ensure timely delivery.
