Job summary

Tempo-Team is seeking a Customer Service Representative in the Netherlands to handle daily logistics inquiries, monitor orders, and serve as the main liaison between customers, vendors, and internal departments.

You will address transport and warehouse questions, provide status updates, and escalate when needed, while helping improve processes in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO 4 degree or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience in customer service.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and be flexible.
• Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus.

• At least a completed MBO 4 degree (secondary vocational education)
• Relevant work experience within customer service;

• Stress resistance and flexibility: you remain calm under pressure and have basic project management skills;
• Excellent command of the English anguage in speech and writing (Dutch is an advantage).

What will you do

As a Customer Service Representative, you play a crucial role in the daily logistics process. You start your workday by monitoring existing orders and ensuring that all service commitments are met. You act as the central point of contact between customers, vendors, and internal departments.

During your workday, you will handle the following tasks:

• Answering phone calls and emails regarding transport and warehouse operations;
• Proactively informing customers about the exact status of their orders and deliveries;
• Handling primary escalations and providing initial first-line solutions;
• Escalating unresolved or complex issues to the right specialists when needed;
• Spotting reoccurring issues and finding structural solutions to improve processes;
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and vendors.
