Job summary

Amoria Bond is seeking an Order Management Specialist to join a dynamic, international team in Noord-Holland. You will link customers, logistics, warehousing, sales and supply chain to ensure smooth orders from placement to delivery.

Your role includes processing orders via email/phone/EDI/ERP, addressing inquiries, coordinating with warehousing and logistics, and maintaining master data while supporting reporting on service levels and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service, Customer Care, Order Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate customer orders received via email, phone, EDI, and ERP systems, ensuring accurate order and fulfilment information.
• Handle customer enquiries regarding order status, delivery schedules, product availability, returns, and exchanges, with proactive updates.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams, logistics partners, Sales, and Supply Chain to support stock availability and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, fulfilment, and master data and support reporting on service levels, order accuracy, and operational performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and implementation of new systems and technologies.

For my client, I am currently looking for an Order Management Specialist for an urgent requirement starting in October.

You will become an important link between customers, logistics, warehousing, sales, and supply chain teams, helping ensure a smooth process from order placement through to delivery.

Your responsibilities:

• Process and validate customer orders received via email, phone, EDI, and ERP systems, ensuring accurate order and fulfilment information.
• Handle customer enquiries regarding order status, delivery schedules, product availability, returns, and exchanges, while proactively communicating updates.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse teams, logistics partners, Sales, and Supply Chain to support stock availability and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, fulfilment, and master data and support reporting on service levels, order accuracy, and operational performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and the implementation of new systems and technologies.

Your profile:

• Experience within Customer Service, Customer Care, Order Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and SUMIF.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work accurately with reporting tools and business intelligence dashboards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate customer, order, and fulfilment records.
• Support reporting on service levels, order accuracy, and performance metrics.
• Validate customer and internal master data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support process optimisation initiatives across the supply chain.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems and technologies.
• Contribute to projects focused on improving customer satisfaction, efficiency, and operational performance.
