Job summary

Sofico is seeking a Customer Operations Team Manager (m/f/d) in the Netherlands to lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for delivering software solutions. You will set direction, coach staff, and partner with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

About the job

Are you a natural and enthusiastic people person with a passion for coaching and developing teams? Sofico is seeking a seasoned Team Manager with a solid background in implementing software solutions and extensive experience in coaching and mentoring.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting the team’s direction, motivating members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your ability to interact effectively with teams, manage career development coaching, and build strong relationships will be key to your success. You will also play a crucial role in recruiting and onboarding new team members, as well as managing and coaching existing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting Team Direction: Ensure team initiatives align with Sofico's regional and global goals.
• Coaching and Development: Provide career development coaching to enhance team members’ skills and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote an environment focused on ongoing enhancement and innovation.
• Motivation and Inspiration: Foster a positive, collaborative work culture.
• People Management: Manage and coach team members with a focus on individual growth and team cohesion.
• Delivery: Oversee and ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of a project, securing scope, budget, and quality requirements. By optimizing the sprints, removing impediments, ensuring transparency, together with the scrum master.

At Sofico, we are looking for a Team Manager who brings a combination of strong leadership abilities and (technical) expertise, moreover knowing and understanding the complete lifecycle of delivering and implementing software solutions. If you have a passion for guiding teams and a background in software, you may be the perfect fit for this role.

• Proven Team Leadership: You have previous experience as a Team Leader with a strong track record of successfully managing and developing teams, preferably in ERP or similar complex implementations. Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Interpersonal Skills: You naturally interact with, and understand the needs of your team members, fostering strong and supportive relationships.
• Career Coaching: You possess expertise in guiding and coaching team members on their career development, helping them to achieve their full potential.
• Collaboration: You are a strong team player who thrives in collaborative environments and works effectively with others to achieve shared goals.
• Software Knowledge: You have experience in software development processes, allowing you to understand and navigate complex systems.
• Project Lifecycle Understanding: You have an in-depth knowledge of the software development project lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish.
• Software Configuration: You bring experience in configuring large or complex software packages, contributing to the successful implementation and customization of software solutions.
• Education level: at least HBO
• Proficient in the Dutch Language (C1) and English
