Job summary

StudentJob zoekt een enthousiaste kok voor het Holiday Inn Express in Amsterdam. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bereiden van ontbijtgerechten, het handhaven van de hygiëne in de keuken en het samenwerken met andere teamleden. Je hebt een MBO/HBO niveau en 1-2 jaar ervaring is een pluspunt. De rol biedt aantrekkelijke voordelen en een kans om te leren in een internationale omgeving.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 1-2 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol.
• Kennis van basis kooktechnieken en kennis van ontbijtgerechten.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes according to the menu and guest preferences.
• Ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.
• Ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING?

• MBO/HBO or equivalent level of education.
• At least 1-2 years of experience within a similar role; experience in Holiday Inn Express hotels is an advantage.
• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of breakfast dishes and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
