Job summary

Odyssey Hotel Group is seeking a Night Auditor for Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam North Riverside. The role combines front desk duties with essential overnight administration, ideal for those who work well independently and enjoy the night shift.

You will handle guest check-in/out, conduct night audits, and ensure accurate systems and handovers to morning staff. The position offers a dynamic, international setting with employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality or night audit is beneficial.
• Knowledge of MS Office and Opera PMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out during night shift.
• Be the night-time point of contact for guests and handle late arrivals.
• Perform night audit tasks: reconcile daily activity and generate reports.
• Ensure accurate room type, rate, and availability in the system.
• Carry out security checks and maintain public area cleanliness.
• Provide a clear handover to the morning shift.

THE POSITION

We are looking for a Front Office Agent with a focus on Night Audit responsibilities. This role combines front desk guest service with important overnight administrative and operational tasks. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working independently, and prefer the quieter night hours, this is the right fit for you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcoming guests and handling check-in and check-out procedures
• Being the main point of contact for guests during the night shift, including handling late arrivals or guest requests
• Performing the night audit: reconciling the day’s financial activity and generating reports
• Ensuring system accuracy for room types, rates, and availability
• Completing security checks and maintaining public area cleanliness
• Providing a clear and accurate handover to the morning shift

• You work independently and take full responsibility for your shift
• You remain calm and solution-focused in any situation
• You are a strong communicator and provide excellent guest service
• You are flexible, presentable, and reliable

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

• Experience in hospitality or as a night auditor is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office and preferably Opera
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
