Job summary

EDGE Workspaces in Rotterdam is seeking a hands-on Community Manager to lead daily experiences, guide the team, and stay actively involved in operations to deliver warm, personal service for members and guests.

You will own the floor, coordinate shifts, nurture relationships with members, support tours and events, and maintain high standards of hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Hospitality, Communication or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles.
• Natural leadership with hands-on, lead-by-example mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Community Hosts by example, while actively working alongside them.
• Be present on the floor and regularly operate the reception to ensure a seamless experience.
• Take responsibility for the daily rhythm, energy and flow of the location.
• Ensure every arrival feels warm, personal and well taken care of.
• Anticipate what members and guests need and empower the team to do the same.

We are looking for a hands-on and hospitality-driven Community Manager who leads the daily experience at our Rotterdam location. Responsibilities you will have

• Lead and inspire the Community Hosts by example, while actively working alongside them

• Build genuine relationships with members and stay closely connected to their needs
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, calmly and to a high standard
• Coordinate planning, shifts and team presence to ensure the right experience at the right moments
• Support and elevate community moments and events, making them relevant and effortless
• Identify improvement opportunities and continuously raise the level of hospitality and service
• Assist with sales tours and membership agreements and meeting & event request

Skills you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Hospitality, Communication or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles
• Natural leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example mindset
• Strong sense of hospitality and attention to detail in experience and atmosphere
• Highly observant: you notice what others miss and act on it
• Comfortable being visible, present and engaged throughout the day
• Able to manage both people and operations in a calm and structured way
• Proactive, solution-oriented and confident in decision-making
• You bring energy, warmth and professionalism into any space you step into
