Job summary

BYD Europe BV in Hoofddorp is seeking a Commercial Vehicle After-Sales Training Specialist to design and deliver technical training for customers, service partners, and internal teams. The role combines hands-on training with collaboration across engineering and support to keep content current with evolving vehicle technologies.

You will conduct onsite and virtual sessions, develop digital materials, and assess learning outcomes while traveling as needed across the EU.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial vehicle after-sales service or technical training.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical circuits, diagnostics tools, and component-level troubleshooting.
• Fluent in English; Chinese or any European language knowledge is a plus. Willingness to travel domestically and in EU.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training modules for commercial vehicles (trucks and buses), focusing on diagnostics, maintenance, repair procedures, service manuals, and practical applications.
• Provide clear explanations of training materials to end users including service engineers, technicians, after-sales teams, and dealership personnel.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions for service technicians, after-sales teams, and dealership personnel.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and customer support to keep training content updated with latest technologies.
• Deliver hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and practical assessments to ensure knowledge transfer and learning outcomes.
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, tests, and performance analysis.
