Job summary

GenScript is seeking a Commercial Technical Support Specialist to support its catalog product lines across Europe. You will act as a bridge between customers, commercial teams, and internal departments, providing technical support and driving product awareness.

You will contribute to market growth through customer engagement, product training, and market insights, while supporting product development and regional strategy execution.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in Immunology, Structural biology, Protein Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine or related fields
• 1–3 years of experience in commercial roles in life science
• Experience with catalog-based product portfolios is a plus
• Strong market research and analysis skills
• Excellent communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with customers
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with your line manager to formulate relevant non-sales strategies for the cell separation product line in the European region
• Promote the implementation of the strategies and ensure the achievement of relevant work objectives
• Be responsible for the non-sales-oriented commercial promotion and full-process technical support of the immunology cell separation product line
• Solve technical problems related to product application
• Handle marketing and promotion of the Cell therapy/Reagent product line in the European region
• Build regional market awareness and enhance product exposure and recognition
• Support local commercial teams across Europe on demand
• Conduct systematic customer mapping & profiling within the territory
• Identify and categorize target client groups accurately
• Arrange targeted customer visits with commercial colleagues
• Deliver product presentations, technical training, and on-site application guidance
• Enhance customers’ understanding and operational proficiency
• Provide product consultation, application Q&A, and technical solutions
• Track market dynamics, industry policies, and technological trends
• Collect market information and customer feedback
• Provide insights for new product R&D and optimization
• Investigate new technologies and competitor products
• Prepare research and analysis reports
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and commercial teams
• Fulfill other job-related tasks assigned by line manager
