Job summary

You bring several years of professional kitchen experience, strong HACCP knowledge, and proven leadership. English communication is essential; Dutch is a plus. Expect evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts in a full-time or part-time role.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a supervisory or senior kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food quality and HACCP.
• A structured and independent way of working.
• Leadership skills and the ability to coach and motivate colleagues.
• A professional and hands-on attitude.
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the kitchen team during daily operations and busy services
• Planning and organising kitchen activities and adjusting priorities when needed
• Preparing and finishing dishes while maintaining consistent quality and presentation
• Coaching and developing kitchen colleagues and helping new team members get up to speed
• Monitoring HACCP, hygiene, food safety and kitchen standards
• Checking deliveries, stock levels and the quality of incoming products
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and teamwork
• Taking responsibility for the kitchen operation during your shift and acting as the senior point of contact for the team
