Job summary

Noordzee Résidence Cadzand-Bad zoekt een Senior Kitchen Supervisor met meerdere jaren ervaring in een professionele keuken. Je leidt de keuken, bewaakt kwaliteit en HACCP en werkt hands-on op drukke diensten. Je coacht collega’s en zorgt voor een soepele service en een hoge gasttevredenheid.

Het betreft een fulltime/parttime positie met een 38-urige werkweek en mogelijkheden voor opleiding. Engels is gewenst, Nederlands is een plus. Vergoeding en extra’s volgens de Recreation CAO worden geboden.

Qualifications

• Meerdere jaren ervaring in een professionele keuken
• Kennis van keukenoperaties, voedselkwaliteit en HACCP
• Gestructureerde en zelfstandige werkwijze
• Leiderschap en het vermogen om collega’s te coachen
• Professionele en hands-on houding
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in Engels; Nederlands is een plus
• Flexibiliteit om avonden, weekenden en feestdagen te werken

Responsibilities

• Leiden en coördineren van het keukenteam tijdens dagelijkse operaties en drukke diensten
• Plannen en organiseren van keukentaken en prioriteiten aanpassen
• Bereiden en afmaken van gerechten met constante kwaliteit en presentatie
• Coach en ontwikkel keukencollega’s en help nieuwe teamleden op snelheid te krijgen
• Toezicht houden op HACCP, hygiëne, voedselveiligheid en keukenstandaarden
• Controleren van leveringen, voorraden en kwaliteit van inkomende producten
• Kansen identificeren om efficiëntie, kwaliteit en samenwerking te verbeteren
• Verantwoordelijk zijn voor de keukenoperatie tijdens jouw dienst

You are an experienced kitchen professional who enjoys taking the lead. You know what a good service requires, keep an overview when things get busy and make sure the team can perform at its best. You combine hands‑on kitchen work with a higher level of responsibility and help ensure that quality, organisation and guest satisfaction are always on point.

As Senior Kitchen Supervisor, you take a leading role in the daily operation of the kitchen. You work closely with the team, make sure the preparation and service run smoothly and step in where your experience is needed most.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Leading and coordinating the kitchen team during daily operations and busy services
• Planning and organising kitchen activities and adjusting priorities when needed
• Preparing and finishing dishes while maintaining consistent quality and presentation
• Coaching and developing kitchen colleagues and helping new team members get up to speed
• Monitoring HACCP, hygiene, food safety and kitchen standards
• Checking deliveries, stock levels and the quality of incoming products
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and teamwork
• Taking responsibility for the kitchen operation during your shift and acting as the senior point of contact for the team

Dit ben jij

You have several years of experience in a professional kitchen and are ready to take the next step in your career. You are confident in making decisions, comfortable taking responsibility and able to coach colleagues on the job. You lead by example and know how to keep both quality and teamwork on track.

You Bring

• Several years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a supervisory or senior kitchen role
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food quality and HACCP
• A structured and independent way of working
• Leadership skills and the ability to coach and motivate colleagues
• A professional and hands‑on attitude
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
