Job summary

Varonis Systems, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer in the Netherlands with a strong cloud computing and cybersecurity background.

The role focuses on supporting sales teams, delivering technical demonstrations, and building strong customer relationships to drive adoption of Varonis solutions. You will collaborate with clients to design architecture, present value propositions, and develop implementation plans while staying ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

3+ years in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role focused on cloud computing and cybersecurity
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
Willingness to travel to support sales activities and engage with clients and partners

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients
Develop and deliver technical proposals including architecture diagrams and implementation plans
Serve as a technical advisor on data security, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
Assist in developing sales strategies and account plans to achieve revenue targets
Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape to position solutions
Provide feedback to product management on customer requirements and market trends
Participate in industry events to promote solutions and establish thought leadership
Support and drive sales activity to over-achieve targets
