Job summary

Lemonade in Amsterdam is seeking a highly motivated, compassionate leader to elevate our European Claims Experience Team. You’ll oversee its Dutch advocates, ensure efficient claims handling, and push the experience toward industry-leading levels.

You’ll mentor and coach the team, report on industry trends and data-driven insights to stakeholders, and champion an AI-enabled way of working. This role requires 3+ years of claims-handling experience, 5+ years in a leadership position, and fluency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of claims-handling experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role growing, managing, and coaching a claims team.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Desire to work in a dynamic startup environment.
• Empathetic, patient, and positive approach to your work.
• Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 2 days a week.
• Interest in learning and adapting to AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations for our Dutch claims team.
• Train and coach the claims experience advocates on your team.
• Delight our customers with seamless claims while outperforming on KPIs.
• Report on industry and company trends and other data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• You will be the main point of contact for all Dutch claims related enquiries.
