Job summary

Picnic in Geldermalsen is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement & Operations Manager to own day-to-day performance, lead multiple shifts and translate data into concrete actions that boost safety, quality and productivity.

You will drive Lean initiatives, manage incidents and planning, and coach teams on continuous improvement to deliver reliable on-floor execution and robust KPIs across inbound and outbound operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience managing high-volume, high-SKU workflows.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with data tools.
• Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in automated/semi-automated/manual fulfilment.
• Proven ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and supervise one shift on the floor each week, driving process improvements.
• Own day-to-day and weekly performance of the area (inbound or outbound) with KPI delivery.
• Provide hands-on leadership across multiple shifts to boost engagement and execution.
• Handle major incidents, set productivity inputs, and manage planning escalations.
• Lead improvement initiatives and support Lean activities to remove friction.
• Drive shift-level results on delivery capacity, UPH, cost, timeliness and accuracy.
