Job summary

Wok Restaurant Royal Palace in Renesse zoekt een enthousiaste Independent Chef om dagelijks gerechten te bereiden voor ons populaire concept. Je bereidt wok, grill, à la carte en takeaway, bewaakt smaak en kwaliteit en werkt volgens HACCP-richtlijnen.

Je krijgt een marktconform salaris tussen €2.500 en €3.200 bruto per maand, met directe kans op een vast contract en een fulltime dienstverband van 40 uur per week.

Qualifications

• Gevorderde kookkwalificatie vereist of vergelijkbaar.
• Ervaring als chef in restaurant, hotel of grootkeuken.
• Kennis van HACCP en voedselveiligheid.
• In drukke service periodes effectief kunnen werken.
• Beschikbaarheid voor avonden en weekenden.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Sterke teamspeler met passie voor koken.

Responsibilities

• Bereiden en koken volgens recepten en kwaliteitsnormen.
• Bewaken van smaak, kwaliteit en presentatie van maaltijden.
• Werken volgens HACCP-voedselveiligheidsrichtlijnen.
• Inspecteren van inkomende leveringen.
• Beheren en monitoren van voorraadniveaus.
• Ondersteunen van keukenhulp en junior teamleden.
• Samenwerken met collega's voor een uitstekende gastbeleving.

As an Independent Chef, you will play an active role in the daily preparation of dishes for our popular restaurant concept. You will help ensure that our guests enjoy fresh and flavorful meals from our wok, grill, à la carte, and takeaway kitchens. Your Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and quality standards
• Monitoring taste, quality, and presentation of meals
• Working in compliance with HACCP food safety guidelines
• Inspecting and checking incoming deliveries
• Managing and monitoring stock levels
• Supporting kitchen assistants and junior team members
• Collaborating with colleagues to create an excellent guest experience
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
• Gross monthly salary between €2,500 and €3,200
• Immediate prospect of a permanent contract

Functie-eisen

We are looking for an independent chef with a passion for cooking and teamwork, who remains flexible and performs well under pressure.

• Completed MBO Level 3 qualification in Culinary Arts, Independent Chef, Hospitality, or a related field
• Previous experience as a chef in a restaurant, hotel, or large-scale kitchen
• Knowledge of HACCP regulations and food safety standards
• Ability to work effectively during busy service periods
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts
• Good command of Dutch and/or English
• Strong team player with a genuine passion for cooking
