Hotel Okura Amsterdam invites a Chef de Partie to join Serre restaurant, renowned for its Bib Gourmand status and international menu. You will lead diverse dishes at high standards, manage mise en place, and ensure kitchen hygiene while supporting menu development and teamwork across departments.

The role requires SVH certification, fluent English and Dutch, and prior hospitality experience in a distinguished setting. A seven‑month contract with extension opportunities awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• SVH or similar certification required.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (oral and written).
• Demonstrated hospitality industry experience in a distinguished setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes to standards, recipes and planning.
• Maintain end product quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Oversee kitchen areas for optimal performance and hygiene.
• Assist in mise en place and inventory tasks.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and trainees.
• Contribute to menu development and new item ideas.
• Support cross‑department collaboration within the hotel.
