Job summary

Hilton Schiphol is looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join our Hotels team. You will prepare high-quality dishes according to standard recipes, supervise line cooks, and support in the absence of senior chefs to keep operations running smoothly.

You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, monitor ingredient quality and storage, and contribute to cost control while upholding health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations for exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP.
• Ability to lead and coach junior kitchen staff.
• Excellent organization to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Passion for culinary trends and quality presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
• Supervise line cooks and support senior chefs in their absence to keep operations smooth.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
• Monitor ingredient quality, storage, and stock rotation.
• Assist with cost control to improve gross margins and meet departmental targets.
