Job summary

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a Chef de Partie to join a vibrant, international kitchen team. You will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (depending on the shift) and contribute to exceptional culinary experiences for guests across our restaurant and meeting areas.

You will ensure HACCP compliance, support the Sous Chef and Demi Chef de Partie, and assist the Chef de Cuisine with menu creation.

Qualifications

• Must have European passport or Dutch work permit.
• 2 years of experience as Demi-Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie.
• Fluent in English.
• Open minded and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner with the Kitchen Team (shift dependent).
• Create remarkable culinary experiences across restaurant and meeting areas.
• Ensure HACCP rules and regulations are followed.
• Support the Commis de Cuisine and Demi Chef de Partie.
• Assist with menu creation alongside Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for preparing breakfast/lunch/dinner (depending on the shift) together with the Kitchen Team;
• You are responsible for creating remarkable culinary experiences in the Food & Beverage outlets; restaurant and meeting areas;
• You make sure that the HACCP rules and regulations are followed;
• You support the Commis de Cuisine and Demi Chef de Partie;
• You assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef with creating the menus;

You take ownership of the efficient running of the kitchen in the absence of Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• You have an European passport or a Dutch work permit;
• You are fluent in English;
• You are flexible working different shifts (morning and evening);
• You are passionate about hospitality;
• You have 2 years work experience as Demi-Chef de Partie or you already have experience as Chef de Partie;
• You are open minded and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• You have graduated a Culinary Program;
• You have kitchen hygiene certifications.
