Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American is seeking a Chef de Parti for Café Americain, a landmark venue in Amsterdam. You will run your station with pride, delivering elegant, precisely plated dishes and leading moments in a fast-paced kitchen alongside a skilled team.

You’ll drive consistency, push menu ideas, and maintain HACCP and food safety standards while supporting a dynamic F&B operation in a four-star hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Culinary training aligned with professional kitchen standards.
• Hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of core cooking techniques and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Own your station: prepare and plate dishes to high standards following recipes and chef guidance.
• Lead with quality: monitor dish quality, taste, texture, temperature, and presentation.
• Think ahead and stay prepped: manage mise en place, daily prep, and stock rotation (FIFO/HACCP).
• Collaborate with teammates during service and contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal menus.
• Keep it clean and safe: follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
