Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American is seeking a Senior Chef de Parti Garde for Café Americain. You will lead the cold section, craft plates, and ensure consistency across outlets, including Café Americain and Bar Americain.

You will mentor junior chefs, uphold HACCP and food safety, and push menu development with creativity in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Culinary training at MBO Level 2 or higher.
• Hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.
• Solid knowledge of core cooking techniques, food safety, allergens, and trends.
• Strong focus on quality and presentation.
• Proven leadership, organisation and time management.
• Team player with good communication.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cold section with precision and leadership.
• Oversee mise en place, prep, and storage with HACCP adherence.
• Coach and supervise junior chefs; collaborate with sous and head chef.
