Job summary

Arvato in Venlo is seeking a Business Support Specialist to optimize warehouse processes for a highly automated client and translate customer needs into practical logistics solutions, with SAP-based implementations across Venlo and the UK.

You will contribute to development and optimization of logistics concepts, while working in an international, data-driven supply chain environment. A strong SAP and English-speaking background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience with SAP, affinity with IT / ERP / WMS systems.
• Strong analytical skills that help you explore logistics, engineering and automation solutions.
• Advanced experience with MS Office.
• Experience with PRINCE2 and lean principles, and understanding of project plans.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize processes for warehouse locations, with a strong focus on standardization and automation.
• Implement, test and continuously improve operational and system processes within SAP.
• Implement proven system optimizations across the client’s warehouse locations in Venlo and the UK, ensuring a consistent approach.
• Support Account Managers with a unified customer approach, including reporting and insights on process performance and improvements.

In this role, you will focus on optimizing and standardizing warehouse processes for a highly automated client. You translate customer requirements into practical and efficient logistics solutions, while taking feasibility, costs, available information and potential risks into account. You are responsible for implementing, optimizing and testing these processes both operationally and systematically within SAP.

You will also contribute to the development and optimization of logistics concepts and translate these into concrete project plans. By analyzing customer requirements, you are able to distinguish key priorities from secondary issues and turn them into effective solutions.

YOUR TASKS

Key responsibilities also include:
