Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark is seeking a breakfast chef to start the day for our guests, preparing breakfast with fresh, local products and contributing ideas to the buffet. You will work in Floor17 and ensure a high-standard morning service in a lively hotel environment.

You should have a chef training or at least one year in a kitchen, be energetic and proactive, and willing to work weekends and holidays in Amsterdam. HACCP knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Completed a chef training course or at least 1 year of work experience in a kitchen.
• Energetic, cheerful and hospitable with a desire to surprise guests every morning.
• Proactive and a born team player.
• Flexible for weekends/holidays and based in or near Amsterdam.
• Knowledge of HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast for guests using local and fresh products.
• Contribute creative ideas to the breakfast buffet.
• Maintain a clean kitchen and ensure HACCP compliance.
• Collaborate with Floor17 team to deliver morning service.

Rise and shine! You are really a morning person and like to be active in the early hours. A morning mood? You will never have to worry about that! Before the rest of the Netherlands wakes up, you will be in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the guests. You like to provide our guests with a good start to the day. You work with local and fresh products, and that makes you happy. Your creativity provides new ideas for the breakfast buffet and you are happy to contribute them. A clean kitchen is important to you and you are aware of the HACCP rules.

WHO ARE WE?

Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark has become a well-known name in Amsterdam West. With eighteen floors, the hotel offers spectacular views across the entire city. On the 17th floor, you will find Floor17, where guests can enjoy great cocktails and dishes at a height of 85 metres.

Our rooftop terrace is the place for special events, such as movie nights, ice skating experiences and relaxing yoga sessions. It is also the perfect location for meetings with a breathtaking view. As we continue to grow our events business, we are looking for someone who is eager to put Floor17 on the map even further by proactively generating new event opportunities and partnerships.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD BREAKFAST CHEF?

• You have completed a chef training course or at least 1 year of work experience in a kitchen.
• You are energetic, cheerful and HOSPITAL! For you, hospitality means going the extra mile. You are creative and try to surprise the guest every morning.
• You are proactive, a born team player.
• In addition, you are flexible and available on weekends and holidays, and you live in (near) Amsterdam.
• You have knowledge of HACCP.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
