Overview

Job Title: Breakfast Chef

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Are you a breakfast chef looking to relocate to Amsterdam? I am looking for a breakfast chef or evening chef to be part of a well-established high end hotel in Amsterdam. We’re seeking someone who’s passionate about breakfast cuisine, skilled in a high-volume kitchen, and eager to contribute to a welcoming service atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of breakfast dishes to a consistent, high standard
• Set up the breakfast buffet and coordinate live cooking stations where applicable
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
• Monitor ingredient stock levels, support ordering processes, and communicate with suppliers efficiently
• Collaborate with the breakfast and broader kitchen teams to ensure smooth, timely service
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and prep outside breakfast hours when required

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie in hotel or busy kitchen settings
• Strong passion for food presentation, quality, and guest satisfaction
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities in high-pressure environments
• A team player with a positive attitude, open communication, and adaptability
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends
• Good command of English; Dutch or other European languages is a plus
• Only candidates with valid EU work authorization will be considered
