NH Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam city centre is seeking a Breakfast Chef (f/m/d) for a full-time role. You will prepare mise en place for breakfast, lunch and evening catering, set up buffets, and coordinate with the F&B team to deliver a flawless guest experience.

You bring a cooking heart, enjoy teamwork, and communicate well with guests and colleagues. The role requires a passion for food and the ability to stay calm in busy periods.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch; other languages a plus.

Your Role at a Glance

• 04:30Your alarm goes off and you get ready for your shift.
• 05:45You are in the kitchen and grab yourself a cup of coffee to start with.
• 06:00Together with your colleague from the F&B service you set up the buffet in the restaurant.
• 07:00The first guests arrive; you prepare a delicious egg dish for one of your favorite regular guests.
• 10:45After the final guests leave the breakfast restaurant, you clean up where possible and prepare the mise en place for the following day.
• 11:15If necessary, you prepare a (sandwich) lunch for the meeting and event guests.
• 11:30Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
• 12:00The lunch in the restaurant has started and you ensure they have a perfect experience from start to finish.
• 13:30The last guests leave, and you and the team make sure the mise en place is in order for the next shift and your workplace is neat and clean.
• 14:00Time to go home!
