Job summary

Axelera AI seeks an Automotive Application Engineer to validate its edge-AI stack for automotive needs. You will translate market requirements into testable criteria, verify performance, power, and latency, and build demonstrators that feed the internal roadmap.

You will work with R&D, Product Management and the Functional Safety Manager to ensure safe integration and cross-domain validation across Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR environments.

Qualifications

4–8 years in embedded software or application engineering, automotive or automotive semiconductors.
Strong embedded C and Python for tooling/test automation.
Experience with real-time systems and ISO 26262 safety processes.

Responsibilities

Translate market and customer requirements into testable evaluation criteria for the Axelera stack.
Define and run benchmarks around automotive use cases (ADAS, parking, BEV).
Port, quantize and optimize automotive workloads onto Axelera hardware and build reproducible benchmarks.
Identify and close gaps between stack and automotive expectations (OS/middleware integration, determinism).
Collaborate on safety-related software stack with Safety Manager and R&D teams.
