PPHE Hotel Group seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam. You will work closely with the F&B Manager to lead daily operations across all outlets, including restaurant, bar, room service and events, while hands-on on the floor.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in F&B management, strong leadership, and experience in SOP creation; fluency in English is required, Dutch is a plus. The role offers a salary under Horeca CAO Scale IX and extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Hospitality or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in F&B management, preferably in hotels.
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and service standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to bring our outlets to life every single day. From the restaurant and bar to room service and events, you’ll be hands-on in the operation— The ideal candidate will assist in managing staff, ensuring quality service, leading the team on the floor, setting the tone for service, and ensuring our guests feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for.

This role is ideal for an experienced F&B professional who enjoys responsibility, thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, and is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. Experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar lead role is highly preferred, as this position requires strong operational insight and confident people management.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:

Qualifications for the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:

• Degree in Hospitality or related field (preferred)
• 2–3 years’ experience in F&B management, ideally in a hotel setting
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Proven ability to manage time, scheduling, and operational priorities
• Experience creating and enforcing SOPs and service standards
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Proficient in POS systems, F&B software, and Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

This position is classified under the Dutch Hospitality Collective Labour Agreement (Horeca CAO, Scale IX) with a starting salary from €3461.70 gross per month based on full‑time employment.
