Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam. You will work closely with the F&B Manager to lead daily operations across all outlets, including restaurant, bar, room service and events, while hands-on on the floor.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in F&B management, strong leadership, and experience in SOP creation; fluency in English is required, Dutch is a plus. The role offers a salary under Horeca CAO Scale IX and extensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Hospitality or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in F&B management, preferably in hotels.
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and service standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support daily F&B operations across outlets, open/close procedures.
• Lead service, ensure smooth, well-organized shifts.
• Control inventory, minimize wastage, and support cost-efficiency.
• Create staff schedules balancing labor costs with service needs.
• Handle last‑minute staffing and maintain shift coverage.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Develop, implement, and update SOPs for better flow.
• Maintain consistent quality across shifts.
• Lead onboarding and training for new staff.
• Engage with guests, resolve complaints, and enhance satisfaction.
