Job summary

Faststream Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Chief Housekeeper on behalf of a prestigious luxury ocean cruise operator. The role supports the 1st and Chief Housekeeper, leading the team and ensuring health, safety, and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate has prior onboard experience in a senior housekeeping role, strong leadership and organisational abilities, and can provide shipboard appraisals from the last two contracts. Fluency in English is essential.

• Experience as Assistant Chief Housekeeper or senior housekeeping onboard cruise ships.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multicultural teams.
• Ability to provide shipboard appraisals from last 2 contracts.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Support the 1st and Chief Housekeeper in daily Housekeeping operations on board.
• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation procedures.
