We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and inspiring Director of Housekeeping to lead the housekeeping operations of our luxury hotel. This executive-level role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort across all guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality excellence, strong operational expertise, and a proven ability to motivate and develop high‑performing teams.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and develop the housekeeping management team and staff.
• Establish departmental goals aligned with the hotel’s overall strategic vision.
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and service‑driven work environment.

Operations Management

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and uniform rooms.
• Ensure compliance with luxury brand standards.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure superior quality standards.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

• Develop and manage departmental budgets.
• Monitor labor productivity, inventory control, and supply costs.
• Optimize staffing schedules based on occupancy forecasts.
• Implement cost‑control initiatives without compromising quality.

Guest Experience

• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure VIP and special‑request rooms meet and exceed expectations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvement plans as needed.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Lead sustainability initiatives and environmentally responsible practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
• Previous experience as Assistant Director of Housekeeping or Director of Housekeeping preferred.
• Strong knowledge of luxury service standards and quality assurance processes.
• Proven experience managing large teams (40+ employees preferred).
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
