Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Leiden is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead end-to-end production operations, ensuring high-quality products are manufactured safely and in full compliance with cGMP, EHS, and lean standards. You will work with supervisors and cross-functional partners to achieve the Master Production Schedule and foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO level) with at least 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Experience in the medical device or regulated manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, EHS, and quality systems in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise manufacturing teams to meet production targets in line with the Master Production Schedule.
• Assign operators, manage resources, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Support the introduction, qualification, and validation of new products and equipment, including training of operators.
• Ensure all process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions are accurate, current, and completed on time.
• Monitor manufacturing performance through data analysis (yield, nonconformances, training, absenteeism) and implement corrective actions.
• Lead or support deviation investigations, CAPAs, and change management activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and act as a subject matter expert for assigned processes.
