Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a commercially driven Business Developer to strengthen its Air & Ocean Freight footprint in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam. The role requires a hands-on, multi-hat approach in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.

You will drive new business, manage full sales cycles, build key customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Air & Ocean Freight forwarding sales.
• Strong background in business development and customer acquisition.
• Experience across multiple industry sectors and supply chain solutions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition across Air & Ocean Freight, with emphasis on Air Freight growth.
• Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy for the Dutch market.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities across Machinery & Industrial, Fashion & Retail, Pharma & Healthcare.
• Prepare and present tailored logistics solutions to customers.
• Support pricing and quotation activities to ensure competitive and profitable solutions.
• Work closely with Operations, Customer Service and Management for onboarding and retention.
• Act as a true business partner across functions.
