Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager to build and manage an account base in Air and Ocean Freight. You will identify opportunities, develop strategic plans, and drive revenue growth while coordinating with global teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires travel to meet clients, strong market knowledge, and the ability to present tailored freight solutions. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional training.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in air/ocean freight.
• Fluent English required; Dutch a plus.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business opportunities in Air & Ocean Freight.
• Engage and establish long-term relationships with clients requiring international freight solutions.
• Design and execute a business plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure seamless shipment management and customer satisfaction.
• Present customized air and ocean freight solutions to meet client needs.
• Conduct sales and negotiation meetings with prospective and existing customers.
