Job summary

NiCE Cognigy is seeking a Manager, PreSales Engineering, AI to lead a 5–6 person Sales Engineering team across Benelux, France, and Nordics. You will engage in strategic deal support, drive market penetration, and build thought leadership while reporting to the Senior Director, PreSales Engineering, AI.

You will coach, develop talent, and own the presales lifecycle from demos to RFP responses, collaborating with marketing and regional sales to expand the pipeline and ROI across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise software, ideally with contact center or automation technologies.
• Proven team lead or manager experience with 1:1s and people development.
• Strong technology and AI foundations with the ability to coach high performers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Sales Engineering team across Benelux, France, and Nordics.
• Own market penetration and drive sustained new-business growth.
• Drive lead generation and build qualified pipeline with marketing and sales.
• Build and scale thought leadership for the region and NICe Cognigy.
• Oversee demos, discovery calls, and RFP responses with timely delivery.
• Lead presales on RFPs with the Bid Manager in-region.
• Bridge technical capabilities with business value, ROI and customer experience.
• Identify upsell opportunities with customer success teams.
• Engage with stakeholders from hands-on tech to VP level and build champions.
• Delegate work, prioritize team activities, and liaise with regional leaders.
• Monitor competitive landscape and keep the team sharp with training.
