Job summary

Marktlink is seeking an AI Engineer to shape the future of our M&A practice. You will build multi-agent systems, own projects from ideation to live deployment, and ensure AI outputs are measurable and reliable within our knowledge systems.

You will work with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines, collaborating with an AI, Data & AI team. Dutch fluency and strong Python skills are required for this fast-paced, growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, AI, econometrics, or related field.
• Fluency in Dutch is required.
• Strong Python skills and ability to debug code.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Familiar with AI-coding agents and evaluating generated code.
• Basic Git knowledge; experience with CI/CD, API integrations or Azure is a plus.
• Analytically strong and able to explain technical choices clearly.
• Curious, proactive and pragmatic in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build multi-agent systems that communicate with users and connect to internal systems.
• Work on AI projects end to end, from idea to deployment and improvement.
• Develop RAG pipelines with vector embeddings for safe data access.
• Translate business needs into concrete technical solutions and align priorities.
• Choose the right technical approach per challenge.
• Make AI output measurable: build test sets and evaluate accuracy, hallucinations, cost and latency.
• Bring solutions to production and keep them reliable, secure and maintainable.
• Track adoption, gather feedback and iterate based on results.
• Stay sharp on new AI developments and share ideas with the team.
