Job summary

Whatsnext AI is seeking an experienced AI Operations Consultant in Rotterdam to bridge technical and commercial sides of client projects. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on turning client problems into delivered AI solutions, from scoping to deployment.

You will run client conversations, design feasible AI architectures, brief development teams, track progress and identify follow-on opportunities, ensuring measurable impact and clear communication in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consultancy, AI/tech, project leadership or client-facing roles.
• Experience building, guiding or delivering AI solutions.
• Understanding of LLM projects, with the ability to read Python.
• Able to independently produce viable scopes and estimates.
• End-to-end project management experience, including client communication.
• Strong technical and strategic conversation skills.
• Fluent Dutch and solid English.
• HBO or WO-level working and thinking standards.

We're looking for someone who sits between the technical and the commercial: not a classic project manager, not a pure engineer, but the person who turns client problems into delivered AI.
