Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Manager of Field Engineering (Pre-Sales) for Benelux Named Accounts in Amsterdam, NL. Lead a high-performing team of Solutions Architects, coach in AI-enabled workflows, and drive platform adoption with executive stakeholders.

You will split time between field work and in-office collaboration to build a trusted advisory presence and scale regional capability across enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical customer-facing teams.
• Ability to partner with Sales and cross-functional teams on complex engagements.
• Experience in data platforms, analytics, AI, cloud, software, or technical consulting.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and scale elite Solutions Engineers/Architects in Benelux.
• Drive AI adoption and capabilities across the team.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior execs, translating platform value into ROI.
• Co-own regional consumption and growth targets with Sales partners.
• Coach SAs on architecture, ensuring independence and preventing delivery handoffs.
• Expand Databricks' presence across enterprise accounts in the region.
