Databricks Inc. in Amsterdam, Netherlands is seeking a Manager, Field Engineering (Pre-Sales) to lead a high-performing team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects across the Benelux Named Accounts.

You will spend 30-40% in the field partnering with customer executives and Sales, coaching your team and driving enterprise AI initiatives. You will build an elite pre-sales organization, embed AI tools into workflows, and expand Databricks' brand presence with enterprise accounts in the Benelux

Qualifications

Experience leading a technical customer-facing team.
Experience partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams on complex engagements.
Experience in data platforms, analytics, AI, cloud, software, or related technical domain.
Strong written, verbal, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a field engineering team of Solutions Architects across the Benelux region.
Drive AI adoption and capability across the organization.
Build trusted relationships with C-level and senior executives, translating platform capabilities into business ROI.
Co-own regional consumption and growth targets with Sales partners and maintain pipeline rigor.
Coach SAs and refine architectures without taking over delivery.
Expand Databricks' brand presence across enterprise accounts.
